Humans in Zombies vs Humans

One life, a shop, and a timer — conversion is the only Human fail state.

Humans Guide

Humans in Zombies vs Humans are the default spawn after Build. You keep a Roblox avatar, a hotbar, and one life. Death is not a respawn; it is a team swap. That single rule is why a coward with a torch can be more useful than a Diamond Sword highlight. This page is the Human identity. Night tactics: how to survive. Gear ranks: weapons and armor.

The Moonbathing clip in the middle is a badge hunt, not a strategy bible — it still shows a quiet night, which is the actual win condition.

Objective

Be alive at 0:00. Kills buy Money and XP. They do not buy the W. If two Humans camp a cave in a New Frontiers biome while twenty Zombies parade a ruined tower, Humans still win.

NamuWiki’s one-liner is the whole class: you can win by surviving at the cost of dying once — except that once is the loss for this night. Do not donate it.

Kit

You buy from the Human shop with Money, unlocked by level:

  • Melee from Flint Dagger to Obsidian Hammer.
  • Bow, Shield, Grappling Gun, Telepearl.
  • Armor from Leather to Obsidian, plus Elytra at 50.
  • Heals: Bloxy Cola, Hot Chocolate, Witches Brew.
  • Blocks and torches, which are still your real HP.

You do not explode on Q. That bind is the other team. Human Night keys: 1 sword, 2 torch. Controls.

VIP does not add a Human superpower. It multiplies XP. Game passes.

Why you feel outnumbered while having more players

At Night start, Humans are the majority. Zombies have infinite respawns and bombs that delete the thing you spent five minutes on. Each convert makes the next convert easier because the undead gain a player who already knows the door code. Sportskeeda called this out in 2024; it is still the design.

Teamwork is not optional flavor. Shared pillars, a called heal, a closed trapdoor — that is the class fantasy. Four 1x1 tombs is four sequential conversions.

Conversion etiquette (yes, really)

When you die, you are a Zombie. Playing “soft” to protect your friends is how they win a round you already lost. The honest play is to siege. The next round you are Human again. If you instead stand AFK in spawn, you wasted a conversion slot that a real Bomber could have used. Read Zombies the moment the camera respawns you green.

Badges are not subclasses

You Joined, Cold Open, Moonbathing, and the rest are collectibles. They do not change HP. Do not save a Moonbathing attempt for a rated night if the rest of the server is trying to hold a roof. Sandbox and quiet servers exist.

Human anti-features

  • No medic, no cure, no safe zone.
  • No keeping zombie Tix gear as a Human.
  • Jump fatigue. You are not a bunny-hop class.
  • Weapon durability after Saving Grace. Your identity is not a broken Diamond Sword you refuse to replace.

If you want the other fantasy — infinite lives, Q, graves — you will get it the moment you slip. Until then, you are a timer. Play like one.

A Human night in practice

Minute 0–2: stay off grass, torch the interior, do not inspect explosion craters. Minute 2–5: listen for Cannoneer plants, heal before you are already red, keep a drop-down. Last minute: assume an outline, move to the second room you built during the five-minute phase. If the fort is gone, split into terrain instead of clustering on the ruins. That sequence is also on how to survive; it is here so the roster page is not just philosophy.

Badge hunting (Moonbathing, Cold Open) belongs on a quiet server. A rated 32-player night is a siege, not a screenshot. If you convert, switch to the Zombies brain immediately — the timer does not pause for your identity crisis.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players ask after every night.

Do Humans respawn?

No. Death converts you to a Zombie for the rest of that night.

Can Humans win by hiding?

Yes. One living Human at 0:00 wins. Hiding is a valid class play.

What are the Human hotkeys at night?

1 for sword, 2 for torch by default. Controls.

Does Leather Armor matter?

Only on night one. Replace with Iron at level 6. Armor tier.
