Zombies vs Humans New Frontiers Map Update

The Roblox page for Zombies vs Humans currently leads with NEW FRONTIERS: two new maps, a revamp of the current map, sandbox, two new blocks, and the traditional “Removed Herobrine” joke. This page is what that drop means when you press 1 in Build. It is not a texture tour. Sister patches: Saving Grace and version history.

The official gallery used on this wiki’s homepage is the three-panel NEW MAPS art: grassy highlands, a burning banner tower, a desert canyon. Those are the silhouettes you should learn before you plant a needle in a biome that no longer exists.

What shipped

Quoted from the live description, not from a leak:

• Two new maps plus a revamp of the previous layout.

• The usual like-for-updates ask.

Server size is still 32. The round is still Build then Night. Conversion still exists. If you only remember one thing: your old sky-spot is gone; Sandbox is how you find a new one without converting a rated server.

Sandbox is the real headline

Before this drop, the only way to test eight iron legs was a live night. That is why auto-build scripts exist — and why they are banned. Sandbox is the legal lab. Spend a session:

1. Copy the pillar rule (3–5 block spacing).
2. Explode it yourself as Bomber.
3. Try Cannoneer on your own roof.
4. Then queue a rated map.

If you skip that, New Frontiers is just a prettier way to repeat the Imadumbo needle.

How biomes change Night

• Open highlands — Cannoneer lines are long. Roofs matter more. Hunter jump paths are obvious. Spread legs; do not offer a single banner tower as a silhouette.
• Canyon / desert shelves — Humans can stall in terrain after the fort dies. That is a survive map, not a monument map.
• Revamped classic — your muscle memory for zombie spawn is wrong. Walk the rim once during Build instead of AFK-shopping.

Zombie spawn touring is still a Protohog-level mistake. New maps did not add a tourist attraction there.

Two new blocks

Until you have eaten a Q on them, treat new blocks as volume, not as secret obsidian. Put them in fill or extra legs. Keep obsidian / diamond faces on the walk path. When community HP numbers land, we will promote them on that tier page instead of guessing here.

What to do this week

• Relearn controls only if you rebound keys and then swapped devices.
• Rebuild your loadout checklist for the biome you actually got (Bow for long sight lines).
• Ignore any “new map OP script.” Terrain is not a hitbox. Scripts hub.

Loadout tweaks per silhouette

Highlands: Bow and extra roof. Canyon: Telepearl and a second hide in the shelf after the fort dies. Banner tower maps: Cannoneer on the zombie side, extra legs on the Human side — never a taller needle. The loadout checklist is biome-agnostic; you still tick Iron Sword. The biome only changes whether Bow or Grappling Gun jumps the queue.

If your squad is arguing about “the old sky spot,” they are arguing with a revamp. Walk during Build. If they want to test without converting randoms, that is literally why Sandbox shipped. Using auto-build on a new biome is how you get reported while still not knowing the rim. Place the legs yourself. The map is the patch; the skill is unchanged.
