Loadout Checklist

Use this as a pre-Night card. The opinions behind each tick live on weapons, armor, and how to survive. Levels: level unlocks. If the Build clock is under a minute, skip the prose and tick what you have.

Human — first nights (levels 0–6)

  • Extra Wooden Planks / Oak Logs (spent the group 100 here, not on a flex sword)
  • Placeable torch inside the box
  • Leather Armor equipped, not sitting in the shop
  • Stone or Wooden Sword in slot 1
  • Bloxy Cola if you already hit 3
  • Iron Sword the moment 5 unlocks
  • Iron Armor at 6
  • Anti-Stuck remembered as key 3controls
  • More than one pillar — how to build

Human — mid (7–17)

  • Telepearl or Hot Chocolate (7)
  • Iron Block faces on the walk path (8)
  • Bow + Arrows (9) if the map has long sight lines (New Frontiers)
  • Door or trapdoor (10) instead of a sealed tomb
  • Shield (13) if you will actually hold it
  • Not Heavy Gold unless you like being a 125 Money pinata
  • Diamond Sword / Armor at 15
  • Grappling Gun at 17 — this wins more nights than a second gold stick
  • Durability check after Saving Grace; replace a chipped Iron

Human — late (20–50)

  • Emerald Axe (20)
  • Obsidian Block faces (26) on the legs zombies actually hit
  • Trident (28) if you already poke Cannoneers
  • Obsidian Armor / Hammer (30 / 35) if you are a hallway Human
  • Elytra (50) only if you will fly and pillar-hop, not AFK on a banner
  • Second hide for the last-minute outline — how to survive

Zombie — Tix order

  • Bomber until you can drop a pillar on purpose
  • Cannoneer if the server loves towers
  • Hunter if the server loves roofs
  • Gravedigger if nights stall with too much HP left
  • Gladiator only when the box is already open
  • Emotes left in the shop

Caps: 3 Cannoneer, 5 Hunter, 3 Gladiator. If the slot is full, you are Bomber. Good. Zombie tier.

Night-before reminders

  • Right place ID (Dejavu survival, not the fighting clone)
  • Tried codes without eating the whole Build timer
  • Not running a script you cannot afford to be banned for
  • Sandbox practice if the biome is new

Tick, queue, hide better than last time. The long guides will still be here after the W or the convert.

Why the ticks are in this order

Volume blocks beat a second dagger because conversion happens on grass, not on DPS meters. Cola beats Gold Sword because a panic heal is a timer tool. Bow beats a pretty melee because Cannoneer plants are a standing target. Grappling Gun beats a duplicate gold stick because a broken floor is a Q waiting to happen. Elytra is last because wings on a player who still builds needles are just a faster fall.

If you only tick three things this week: extra legs, a torch, and Iron Sword at 5. Everything else is a refinement. Pair this card with controls so slot 1 is actually the sword during Night, not leftover Build mode. If you convert, drop the Human card and use the Tix order — playing Shield as a Bomber is how you Q the dirt.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players ask after every night.

What is the one item I should not skip at mid-game?

Bow with arrows, or Grappling Gun at 17. Both prevent conversions that swords do not.

Should Heavy Gold be on the checklist?

Only as a thing to avoid. Details on armor.

Can I use this as a Zombie?

Use the Tix order at the bottom. The Human ticks do not apply after conversion. Zombies.
