Infinite lives, one job: convert the last Human before the clock.

Zombies Guide

Zombies in Zombies vs Humans are the demolition crew. You respawn until Night ends. You win only if zero Humans remain. That is a siege identity, not a deathmatch identity. If you Q the lobby grass twenty times while a roof still stands, you played the highlight and lost the round. Ranks and Tix: zombie tier list. Objective: how to play.

dangler’s breakdown is embedded on the tier page, not here, so this article can stay on role and spend. Read both.

Objective and the Q contract

Default Bomber and Rusher trade their life for a blast. Q (default) detonates, you die, you walk back from spawn. That is not a fail. It is the reload. The fail is detonating where no Human and no load-bearing block exists.

NamuWiki’s zombie tip is blunt: buildings are target one. A night that looks unwinnable flips when the last legs go. Then Gladiator is allowed to exist.

Variants (identity, not just letters)

  • Bomber — free. Engine. Structure + clustered Humans.
  • Rusher — free. Fast (walk 24), 80 HP, weaker bomb. Finisher.
  • Slime — level 6 unlock, movement spice.
  • Cannoneer — ~125 Tix, cap 3. Plant, charge, delete towers, eat knockback. You are artillery, not a scout.
  • Hunter — ~150 Tix, cap 5, jump 55. Roofs. Ping matters.
  • Gravedigger — pickaxe, graves, slow. You make the map smaller every minute.
  • Gladiator — ~275 Tix, cap 3, 250 HP. Ruins bully.

v1.2 added zombie variants in a bundle; dangler’s video is the 1.2 tour. If a future patch adds another face, it starts on updates then here.

Tix are the class token

Green Money does not buy Hunter. Tix do. Wins, MVP, challenges. Money and Tix. Emotes are the trap spend. Caps mean if three Cannoneers are already in, you are Bomber. Good. The box still needs Qs.

Spawn, graves, and the last Human

Zombie spawn is a blender. Humans who “tour” it late (Protohog’s warning) are donating. As undead, bait that tour. Graves in mid deny the “I will just hide on the rim” plan that v1.0 allowed before player highlights existed. Modern nights can outline leftover Humans near the end — that is your alarm clock to stop cannoning an empty wall and go walk.

After you convert someone

They spawn as your teammate. They know the door. Let them lead one push, then go back to legs. A converted player who still plays “Human brain” (running away from their old team forever) wastes the only snowball this game has. Tell them to Q the pillar they just built. That is the class.

What Zombies are not

  • Not a stealth faction with infection percent. Conversion is on death.
  • Not able to keep Diamond Sword.
  • Not excused from the exploit ban. Hitbox expanders that make Q connect through closed obsidian are still scripts.
  • Not the fighting-clone “pick Zombies in a lobby.” This is a random roll plus conversion.

If you rolled undead on night one with 0 Tix, you are Bomber. That is enough to teach the HP of oak. Then you buy the variant that matches the fort you keep seeing. That matching is the whole skill.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players ask after every night.

Do Zombies respawn forever?

Until Night ends, yes. Death is a reload, not a team swap.

How do I unlock more zombies?

Levels open the row; Tix buy the variant. Level unlocks and zombie tiers.

Should I always explode as Bomber?

Explode on pillars and stacked Humans, not on empty grass. Q is a resource even if you respawn.

Can I join Zombies on purpose?

Night start is random. After that, dying as a Human is the only swap. There is no lobby team pick in this title.
