Getting Started in Zombies vs Humans

Your first night in Zombies vs Humans is supposed to feel unfair. The shop is full of items you cannot buy yet, random players become Bombers, and a pretty tower falls in two explosions. This guide is the boring path that actually works on session one.

Launch the correct place: Zombies vs Humans by Dejavu Studios. Then do the five steps below in order. Deeper systems live in how to play and controls.

1. Join the group and grab 100 Money

Open Dejavu Studios, join, then rejoin the game if the green bills did not move. Full notes: group rewards. Optional typed strings, if you want to try them, sit on codes.

Do not buy VIP on minute one unless you already know you like the loop. VIP is a 25 percent XP multiplier explained on game passes. Jeremy Voet’s video in the middle of this page shows a VIP first night — useful footage, not a purchase order.

2. Learn the two clocks

Build is five minutes. Everyone places blocks. Nobody knows who will be rolled as a Zombie, so you still help the fortress. Night is the hunt: a few players become undead with infinite respawns; Humans have one life and convert on death. If any Human is alive when the timer ends, Humans win. If conversion is complete, Zombies win. That is the whole of how to play.

NamuWiki lists Night around seven minutes on current servers; older Sportskeeda copy said five. Play the timer you see, not the blog date.

3. Buy a starter kit, not a trophy sword

At level 0 the shop already has Flint Dagger, Wooden Sword, Stone Sword, Leather Armor, torches, snowballs, Wooden Planks, Oak Logs, plus Bomber and Rusher on the zombie side. Spend the 100 Money on extra planks and logs. Place a torch inside whatever you build.

Save Gold Sword fantasies for the weapon tier list after you have seen level 5 Iron. The level unlocks tool is the wall you will actually hit: Bloxy Cola at 3, Iron Sword at 5, Bow at 9, Diamond at 15, Elytra at 50.

4. Build like a coward, not an architect

Press 1 for Build mode, 2 to destroy your mistakes, 3 if you clip inside a block (Anti-Stuck). Make several pillars with 3–5 blocks of space, then a roof. One sky needle is a Bomber snack. Leave a way down. If Night starts and you are stuck on a 1x1 with no stairs, you will eat an explosion you cannot strafe.

5. Play Night as a Human until you understand conversion

Hotbar during Night: 1 sword, 2 torch (Human). If you get rolled as a Zombie, Q detonates Bomber/Rusher. Do not panic-Q at your own feet under a full HP Human in Diamond — you will respawn at the zombie spawn and they will still be up there. Zombie roles are ranked on the zombie tier list.

When you die as a Human you are now undead for the rest of that night. Help the siege or you padded the enemy team for nothing. Details: Humans and how to survive.

First-hour goals

• Survive one night without converting, even if you did zero kills.
• Earn enough XP to see Iron Sword (level 5) and Iron Armor (level 6).
• Unlock the idea of Tix as a separate wallet. You cannot buy Hunter with green bills.
• Open New Frontiers after the session so the next server is not a surprise biome.
