Zombies vs Humans Armor and Blocks Tier List

What you wear and what you place — HP that actually lasts a Q.

Armor and Blocks Tier List

In Zombies vs Humans, armor is a second HP bar and blocks are the first. Ranking a helmet without ranking oak is how people die in “good gear” on a one-leg needle. This list covers both. Weapons: weapon tier. How to place the blocks: how to build. Unlock levels: level unlocks.

Kill-reward tables on Fandom pay different Money for different Human armor. That means your outfit is also a bounty. Heavy Gold is the joke that prints 125 Money for the Zombie who converts you.

Armor — S and A

  • Diamond Armor (15). Honest tank. You still convert to one bad closet Q, but you survive the chip that Leather does not.
  • Obsidian Armor (30). Late Human wall. Slow compared with Diamond mobility builds, hard to pop. Zombies get a 50 XP bump for killing it on the public table — you are a priority target, not invisible.
  • Elytra (50). Mobility S, defense C. Protohog: most mobile kit in the game, pillar-hop, air support. You are not a tank. Zombie kill Money on Elytra Humans is low (15) because you should not be getting hit. If you are getting hit, take the wings off the highlight reel and hide.

Armor — B and below

  • Iron Armor (6). First real set. Buy it. Getting started goal alongside Iron Sword.
  • Leather Armor (0). Spawn paper. Better than nothing versus splash. Replace.
  • Shield (13) sits in the weapon list but plays like armor. Hold it.
  • Heavy Gold Armor (13). NamuWiki’s warning is the rank: huge HP, movement -4, jump gutted so you climb like one block. You become the bounty table’s 125 Money / 250 survive bonus. Only wear it as a meme you can afford, never as your “tank main.”

Blocks — what faces the zombie path

S faces: Obsidian Block (26), Diamond Block (16). Put these on the stairs and the wall Bombers actually walk, not as a hidden core nobody hits.

A structure: Iron Block (8), extra pillar count of any mid block. Volume of iron legs beats a diamond needle.

B fill: Wooden Planks, Oak Logs. Cheap inner fill and first-night volume. Fine. Just do not let them be the only face.

C gimmicks: Glass (vision, no HP), Ice, Slime (movement), Gold Block (flex plus a survive-bonus gamble), Scaffold / Truss (height, Elytra toys). Doors and trapdoors (10) are A utility even if their HP is not S — a door you can close is a Shield for the room.

New Frontiers added two new blocks. Use them as extra volume if they are cheap; do not assume they out-HP obsidian until you have eaten a Bomber on them in Sandbox. Map update.

How Zombies read this list

You are not here to admire Diamond. You are here to delete S faces with Cannoneer and Bomber, then convert the Heavy Gold tourist for 125 Money. Zombie tier. Graves under an obsidian box still matter because Gravedigger ignores your fashion.

Loadout pairing

  • Early: Leather + volume wood + torch.
  • Mid: Iron armor + iron faces + Cola.
  • Late: Diamond or Obsidian + Grappling Gun + a roof.
  • Flex: Elytra + Emerald Axe + two-block hops, only if you will actually fly instead of AFK on a banner.

Checklist form: loadout checklist. Human identity: Humans.

If a pack sells “obsidian starter,” that is Robux, not a tier. Optional: game passes. This list is the shop you unlock by not converting.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players ask after every night.

Is Elytra the best armor?

It is the best mobility. It is not the best HP. Hide or keep moving, or convert in one Q.

Why do people say Heavy Gold is bad?

You can barely jump, you are slow, and you pay the killer. The survive bonus is bait.

What block should I upgrade first?

Iron faces on the walk path, then diamond/obsidian. Extra legs beat a single expensive wall.

Do new map blocks change the tier list?

They add volume. Until they prove HP in Sandbox, treat obsidian as the face and wood as fill.
